Every thermal imaging study performed through Midwest Thermography is independently interpreted by Dr. Robert Kane, a Board Certified Clinical Thermologist who has specialized in medical thermal imaging since 1990. He independently interprets breast, head and neck, and full body thermal imaging studies using established thermographic protocols and decades of clinical experience.

Dr. Kane received his thermography training through the International Thermographic Society and earned Diplomate certification through both the American Board of Clinical Thermography and the International Academy of Clinical Thermology. He was later recognized as a Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Thermology for his contributions to the profession.

To further his expertise in breast thermal imaging, Dr. Kane studied under Dr. William Hobbins, a recognized authority in breast thermography. Throughout his career, he has served on the boards of both the American Board of Clinical Thermography and the International Academy of Clinical Thermology. In addition to maintaining an active interpretation practice, he has provided education and training for thermography technicians and health care professionals.

How Your Report is Prepared

After your imaging appointment, your images are securely transmitted to Dr. Kane for independent interpretation. He evaluates the thermal patterns demonstrated by the imaging and prepares a comprehensive written report based on established thermographic standards. Once the report is complete, it is returned to Midwest Thermography. You will be notified when your report is ready. At your request, a copy may also be sent to the doctor or health care provider of your choice.

The report provides additional clinical information that may assist your doctor when considered together with your health history and other clinical findings.

Questions

If you have questions regarding your appointment, your thermal imaging report, or our services, our staff at Midwest Thermography is happy to assist you. Call us.

Thermal imaging is one component of a comprehensive health evaluation and is not intended to be used as a stand-alone screening examination. The impressions included in the report are based on thermal patterns commonly associated with certain conditions and should not be considered a definitive diagnosis. Evaluation by your doctor or health care provider is necessary to determine the cause and significance of the findings.
